The World Video Game Hall of Fame has inducted four new video games at The Strong National Museum of Play. Chosen over a long list of impressive finalists, Donkey Kong, Halo: Combat Evolved, Pokémon Red and Green, and Street Fighter II joined the elite lineup due to their significant effects on the genre and the industry as a whole. Other finalists included Final Fantasy VII, Portal, Tomb Raider and Wii Sports.
The new additions join the ranks of Super Mario Bros., Tetris and World of Warcraft. The World Video Game Hall of Fame started back in 2015 to help recognize electronic games that are deemed worthy to join. Have a few games you want to see on the list?
